Every arrangement at Dragonwell begins with a conversation — not a form. We take time to understand who the person is, what they value in a day, and what their family needs from the situation. Only then do we discuss which arrangement makes the most sense.
We do not push for the highest-value option. If a weekend respite arrangement is what a family needs to test the waters, that is what we discuss. If a resident is well-suited to full-time residence, we explain what to expect honestly and thoroughly.

Full-Time Living
Terrace Residence
A full-time residential arrangement in a home with outdoor terrace access. Rooms are private, sunlit, and furnished for comfort. Meals are served three times daily with rotating menus. Activities include morning garden time, afternoon group conversations, and weekly cultural appreciation sessions.
Housekeeping, laundry, and linen services are managed by staff. Care companions are on hand throughout the day and night. This arrangement is suited to those who value a calm, structured daily life in a home-like setting.

Weekly Programme
Storytelling & Memory Circle
A twice-weekly programme encouraging seniors to share stories and memories in a guided group setting. Each session runs from 10 AM to noon with tea and light refreshments.
Staff facilitate gentle conversation starters and, for families who wish to keep them, record each person's stories. The atmosphere is warm and encouraging — focused on the joy of sharing life experiences, not on any particular outcome.
This programme is open both to Dragonwell residents and to seniors from the wider community who attend specifically for the sessions. It is suited to those who enjoy company and conversation, and who may have stories and memories they have rarely had the space to share.
Programme Details:
- Twice weekly — Tuesday and Thursday mornings
- 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon each session
- Tea and light refreshments served during sessions
- Trained staff facilitate gently — no pressure
- Stories recorded and shared with family (optional)
- Small group — six to eight participants per session

Short-Term Stay
Weekend Respite Arrangement
A Friday-to-Sunday stay for seniors whose caregivers need a short break. Guests receive a prepared room, all meals, and access to weekend activities including garden walks and afternoon screenings.
Staff ensure a warm, welcoming experience. Personal comfort items are encouraged — familiar things from home make the stay feel settled. This arrangement is also a natural way for families to consider whether a more permanent arrangement at Dragonwell might suit their relative in time.
